Absurd Encounters with Men’s Penises

The male penis is a constant source of speculation. However, some men, without any prompting, choose to satisfy present or even absent curiosity. Their absolute dedication to this endeavor is sometimes so undeniable, that they choose to ignore the inappropriate surroundings and even endanger life and limb to do so.

The Classic Encounter

One of my encounters with such an individual took place while watching one of the most romantic movies of all time-Hannibal (I think Anthony Hopkins is so gorgeous and sexy.) Of course, this romantic telling, of a serial killer with a passion for the female FBI agent in pursuit of him, was also full of gory scenes that have made made audiences feel queasy.

During the scene where an unsuspecting inspector, desirous of the financial reward with the serial killer’s capture, was unwittingly drawn into a deathly trap, a man chose to place himself a chair away from me as I sat enraptured in my own seat. That would have been fine except for the sidelong glances that he gave me, a sure mark that something shady was afoot– and the unmistakable sound of a zipper opening left no doubt of what he intended to do.

As the sheer absurdity of the situation was churning in my mind, for I couldn’t fathom how the screen’s massive images of a human’s murder and disembowelment can be ignored, unless your predilections are of the more exotic kind, a decision frame was thrust upon me.

Fact #1- I was only a few minutes away from the end of the scene, where I was truly planning to leave anyway because of some appointment.

Fact #2- I wanted to enjoy the last moments I had with the divine Anthony Hopkins, and I did not want anything to mar those moments.

Fact #3- I did not want to give any importance at all to this obnoxious man.

Decision: Resolutely, I faced the movie screen the whole time and totally ignored him, and as I finally rose from my seat, I made it a point to turn my back and left without sparing him a glance.
