FHM Search for the Girl Next Door 2005

If you’ve always wondered whether you had the guts to appear on FHM’s pages, or whether coming out could boost your career, or whether you would pose on a dare, or you just wanted to show off that beautiful bod, or you thought that being a FHM model was a hoot, or you really thought it’s sexy…

Whatever your reason may be, you might start planning to join next year’s FHM Philippines Search for the Girls Next Door. Regretfully, I have to inform you that the deadline for this year’s search was June 2005. In the meantime, check out the upcoming FHM issue supplement and evaluate the 50 finalists. And if you’re wondering what the requirements were, read on.

Of course, you may enter the contest yourself. But if you need some prodding and support, a friend may enter your name in the contest on your behalf, but this must be done with your knowledge and consent.

The contest is quite arduous time wise, because, if you’re in it for the long haul, the whole contest will take more or less a year. First, from the hundreds of hopefuls, 50 will be selected and presented to the public in August. In November, the 50 will be further whittled down to just 10 finalists and will appear in the Jan/Feb 2006 FHM issue. Then five finalists will make it to the March 2006 issue. And finally, the two grand finalists will be featured in the May 2006 issue, and the grand winner will have the August 2006 cover all to herself.

It would be best if you downloaded the terms and conditions from www.fhm.com.ph Make sure to read it carefully and repeatedly. I would suggest you read it with somebody who has a working knowledge of legal terms; otherwise, it might be incomprehensible.

I’ll be writing about some of the implications of FHM’s terms. But make sure to understand it first before signing it and sending it off to the FHM office together with a sexy full body picture, bio-data with your vital statistics, and a NSO certified copy of your birth certificate to prove that you’re a Filipina who’s at least 18 years old or more.

Well, there’s no hurry really. You have more or less a year to think about it.
