Sex and the City Writer at Greenbelt 3

If you’re a fan of the HBO series Sex and the City, then you would probably be familiar with the declaration, “He’s just not that into you.” This was uttered by the then boyfriend of Carrie, Burger, to Miranda when she wanted a male point of view as to why her date didn’t want to come up to her apartment, especially when she thought the night was turning out pretty well.

It was even more fun when Greg Behrendt, the Sex and the City writer who coined the term, went on the Oprah show to help some women decide whether their current flame was into them or not.

Like there was this lady who had a lover who was a producer who would fly into the same city where she lived for business, hook up with her for some dates, and they would have amazing sex, but he would never call unless he was in the same area. What gives?

Greg asked the whole audience to answer for him, “He’s just not that into you.” (I hope that particular episode gets shown this week on Studio 23.)

So, my girlfriend and I are planning to go really early (well 1 hour before the 8pm show) to Greenbelt 3 Park on Thursday, 15 September 2005, to catch his stand up comedy act. He will also be discussing his book the next day, 16 September 2005, at the Greenbelt 3 lobby at 8pm, and there will be a book signing after.

If you want to be assured of a slot for the book signing, then you may get a book signing pass from the Customer Service Booth. But they’re only going to be available the very same day as the book signing—16 September 2005. It’s on a first come first served basis, and they will only be given out starting 11am.
