Sniggers — Pillows and Comforters in the Uterus

A question about menstruation from a couple of young ladies led to an unexpected lecture about the ovulation and fertilization process, the egg, the sperm, the XY chromosome, and whatnot.

The discussion sparked a belated thought that I sent via SMS, “May naisip ako. Hehe…”

(I thought of something. Isn’t the uterus called the mattress in Filipino? Then the uterus is just like a bed. But wouldn’t sleeping be better if there are soft bed sheets, firm pillows, smooth covers and comforter? That’s why the uterus produces a lining during ovulation! So that baby’s stay inside mommy is made more comfortable.)
