Plot Summary of 15 May 2007 Episode Aired on ABS-CBN Manila Philippines

Eli Pursues Jackie Eli vents his anger by chopping a stack of wood. But the sight of a loving couple galvanizes him into action. He runs to catch up with Jackie, boards a boat, and, on bare feet, sprints after the bus the weeping Jackie is in.

Falling to his knees in defeat, Eli doesn’t realize that the bus driver has seen him and has stopped the bus.

As Jackie catches sight of Eli, she disembarks.

Jackie and Eli run toward each other, and this time, Eli honestly declares, “Mahal kita noon, mahal kita ngayon, mahal kita habangbuhay (I loved you in the past, I love you now, and I’ll love you forevermore).

Jackie replies, “Alam ng Diyos na ikaw lang ang mahal ko, ikaw lang (God knows that you’re the only one that I’ve ever loved, the only one).

Then Eli kisses Jackie gently on the lips to seal their words of love while Ate Guada leads the bus passengers in cheering for the reunited couple.

I’m Your Fairy Godmother Celine watches delightedly as Eli carries Jackie from the boat towards the beach.

Later, in private, Celine teases Jackie that she is the fairy godmother in the Jackie and Eli fairytale, and earnestly wishes them a love that never wavers in the face of any adversity.

The Promise As Jackie shares the good news with her mom via phone, she catches sight of Eli who comes out of the shadows.

Smilingly, Jackie says goodbye to her mom while watching Eli approach her. Their light hearted bantering about courting comes to an end when Eli gravely asks for forgiveness for all the “pasakit, paghihiganti, at pagkakamali (hurt and suffering)” that he has inflicted on her family, which makes Jackie reassure him that she has already forgiven him.

Taking off his heirloom necklace, Eli puts it around Jackie’s neck with the promise that it will never come off because, “Hindi na kita muling iiwan (I will never leave you again).”

Eli goes down to his knees and states that he is not ready with a ring but only has his heart to offer as he asks for her hand in marriage. Jackie replies, “Wala na akong ibang papakasalan pa (there is no other man for me).”

Still on his knees, Eli hugs Jackie tightly to him, a pose reminiscent of another time when Jackie rejected his entreaties to stay with him when she regained her memory.

As Eli slowly rises, he cups her face in his hands and kisses Jackie tenderly on the lips as the theme music of Maging Sino Ka Man swells in the background.
