Cosmopolitan Philippines Annual Cosmo Men 69 Bachelors & Centerfolds Issue

At llaaassstttt!!! At llloooonnnnggg last!!! At last! At last! At last! At last Cosmopolitan Philippines got the Cosmo Men 69 Bachelors & Centerfolds issue right! Layout and photography have been dramatically improved, with the Cosmo Men obviously more well directed this year.

Among the male celebrities, which includes Derek Ramsay, Marvin Raymundo, Bruno Folster, Alfred Vargas, Joem Bascon, Jon Avila, Luke Jickain, Jake Cuenca, Paolo Paraiso and Dingdong Dantes, one has dared to show his bare backside. Whooohoooo!!!

Never mind that it’s side view, at least the ante has been raised. Next year, keep your fingers crossed because the view may become more interesting.

In the past I noted, “The Cosmopolitan 2005 Centerfolds were complemented by the presence of 69 (An allusion to the famous sexual position?) bachelors, albeit fully clothed, which makes the excitement factor go down meteorically fast. (Yeah, yeah, I know, it’s less socially acceptable for males to uncover themselves.)”

This year, the Cosmo staff managed to convince a majority of the 69 bachelors to bare a modicum of flesh, i.e. remove their shirts. The result is a mixture of different states of undress, with some of them still opting to go fully clothed. Guys, give us a break!

Some of the 69 bachelors were even elevated to the stature of poster boy, i.e., some had a page all to themselves like Gabo Reinhardt and Fred Payawan

Moreover, all the 69 Bachelors have a Web ID, so if you log on to the Cosmo Forum, you might even get to chat with some of them.

When Cosmo wrote on its cover “Get Ready for a Hunkfest!” it’s actually real.
