Frenzy Condoms Encourage Women to Say No
Posted by Saucy Sexy on March 14th, 2008 filed in In Sexy Shape |
Aside from on site promotions regarding the use of condoms, DKT Philippines, the endorser of Frenzy, Trust and Premiere condoms, has started investing heavily in getting the message across via TV commercials.
The most recent ones have featured playful scenarios akin to games and role playing, with the female taking on what is traditionally considered as the dominant masculine role, such as the soldier and the construction worker.
The TVCs exhibit brilliance in presenting the subject of sex in a fun clean way, as in both the male and female actors, aside from being amusing and charming, keep their clothes on throughout the commercials; and, the nearest they come to sexual contact is an exuberant embrace.
The added benefits of the Frenzy Condoms TV commercials are educating women about their right to say no and educating men about respecting that right.
Say No to Unprotected Sex In the Frenzy Condoms commercials, women are encouraged to ask about protection, and are encouraged to say no when there is none.
Furthermore, indirectly, women are informed that it’s all right to initiate the sexual act.
Men Are Educated Too Men are also educated regarding their responsibilities to respect the request for a condom before sexual intercourse, and to stop when there is no protection available and/or the female says no to sex.
Congratulations to the Frenzy Condoms Brand Management and Ad Agency Teams for a campaign executed brilliantly!

Frenzy Condoms
Dear Sir/ Ma’am,
We, the Pettit-III students of Filamer Christian College High School Department, are concerned about the product in the commercial specifically the Frenzy Condoms.
We have seen the commercial on television and we thought of it as negative in our part because of the message. We considered it as negative because of curiosity; young people may test on it. Through it, it can bring high risk of damage to emotional and spiritual status of people especially to the young ones.
What we expect are commercials that can give good values so that we can learn more. We have to bear on our minds that we need to be a good example to youth so that in the future, they will be more responsible and a good example to the next generation.
We are hoping for your response to our letter because this is one of our major requirements in our Values Education subject. Here is our e-mail address at yahoo mail: charizemaepalmes@yahoo.com.ph and also, we want to extend you the non-lasting gratitude for your help.
We are looking forward for positive response regarding this appeal.
Thank you and more power!
Respectfully yours,

MANILA, Philippines–CONDOM ADS, ARGUES JO IMBONG OF FAMILY MEDIA Advocacy Foundation (FMAF), “convey a vulgar message and mock the sensibilities of the audience.”
I’d like to ask what she means by “a vulgar message.” If she is against the manner by which these advertisements are made, then her argument is not against condom advertisements in general, but against particular ads that “mock” her sensibilities. And yet FMAF and other conservative groups are calling for a blanket ban on all condom commercials, irrelevant of content. There is only one common denominator in all condom commercials, whether they involve King Kong, lingerie, or a doctor giving an opinion—it is that sexual activity must be accompanied by condom use. It is not the advertisements per se that Ms Imbong finds vulgar, it is the message that artificial contraception itself is acceptable.
Pro-Life Philippines’ Edgardo Sorreta says that these commercials “violate the innocence of the young, as their impressionistic minds are subconsciously formed on wrong values on sex.” Again, who determines what “the right values” are on sex? Sorreta and his group assume that they have a monopoly on morality, and that their perceptions and judgments are the perceptions and judgments of the millions who watch television. It follows, by their own limited perspectives, that because they perceive artificial contraception to be evil, others must be denied the right to this choice.
This is not only a debate on advertising; it is a debate on free choice. The right of the conservatives to choice is protected by the state, but so is the choice of the others to use artificial contraception. Unless they are able to prove, beyond personal and religious conviction, that artificial contraception is a danger to the individual, the state cannot and must not be compelled to deny its other citizens of the right to choose. I wonder how this group would feel if government mandated denying the public of information on natural family planning, and refused its teaching in public schools.

If a girl gets raped even though a guy uses a condom…is it still rape?
Oh, and the more things change, the more things stays the same.

Yes, Fenix, it will and always will be rape, whether a condom is used or not. Rape is non-consensual, meaning the person has said “NO” both verbally and physically, yet is still forced to do the sexual act.

I’d like to encourage all Catholics to resume practicing their religion , which includes abstaining from sex till marriage and non-use of artificial birth control/contraception. Too long have we been influenced by the media and its lack of Christian values. Freedom of choice includes freedom to follow your faith. In these trying times, turn to Jesus and follow the path of Light instead of darkness. Worldly pleasures are so short-lived/temporary; but sacrifice, self-constraint and delayed gratification can influence generations and help heal the world (as well as save souls). Need proof? Look at the life of Cory. So, Catholics everyhere, open that HolyBible and attend Sunday Mass. It’s more than cool, it’s Gifts from God. For more spiritual guidance, spend time with Jesus at an Adoration Chapel near you (at least an hour each week)or visit http://www.directionforourtimes.com. May God bless you always!
