As our group of friends discussed guys who have made “paramdam,” a girl concluded regarding one of them, “He’s urong-sulong, sorta like blowing hot and cold all the time. Ayoko. Maloloka ako. Another friend, who was betting on that particular guy as her “manok (chicken)” groused and agreed, “Ay naku, I’m going to sell him to Magnolia. He has almost no feathers na, parang dressed chicken. Lulutuin siya para sa tinola. (Right, I’m going to sell him to Magnolia. He has almost no feathers, like a dressed chicken. He can be cooked for the chicken dish of tinola.)”
