With his eighth win, Michael Phelps breaks the long standing record of swimming legend Mark Spitz who won seven gold medals at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games.

As we mull over this human feat of great achievement, let us admire the legendary Olympian’s form that is predicted to be “showing us a glimpse of what the human body is capable of three or four generations from now.”
