Watch Porn on an American Airlines Flight

Despite complaints from passengers and requests from its flight crew, American Airlines will continue to offer “in-flight Internet services on a selection of its domestic coast-to-coast services in the United States” even if passengers have used the services to access pornographic and violent material on the Internet.

The Tech Herald reports that an American Airlines representative has addressed the issue by saying that “vast majority of its passengers use good judgment when it comes to what they access while online in the confines of an aircraft cabin.”

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, The Sydney Morning Herald notes that Qantas Airlines in Australia has opted to “offer only a limited selection of cached internet content and access to web-based email and chat services” in light of the American Airlines scenario.
