Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake in the Madonna Sticky and Sweet Tour

Not. The titillating thought of the two former lovebirds appearing onstage together after so many years apart just didn’t happen. Yes, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake came as promised, but performed in different sequences during the Sticky and Sweet concert tour of Madonna.

The pop icon, well known for organizing exciting combinations of musical personalities, such as the historic ménage à trois of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and herself singing and swapping kisses at the MTV Awards, was not able to persuade the pop prince and princess for another historic ménage à trois musical moment.

Predictably, Justin Timberlake sang 4 Minutes with Madonna, while Britney Spears went onstage earlier during the Human Nature sequence.

Justin Timberlake is currently attached as Jessica Biel’s boyfriend, while Britney Spears is available and divorced with two kids.
