John Lloyd Cruz Compares Bea Alonzo and Sarah Geronimo

In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, PEP, John Lloyd Cruz describes the effects of his leading ladies on him, “Si Bea [Alonzo], she brings out the child in me.

“With Sarah [Geronimo], parang gusto mong alagaan. Sinasabi ko naman na bago pa man yung success ng A Very Special Love, parang may lumabas na ibang ako. Mas naging masiglahin ako. Meron yatang ganoong effect si Sarah sa tao. Nahahawa ka. Contagious ang kanyang personality. (Sarah makes you want to take care of her. And, I was saying even before the success of [our film] A Very Special Love that [Sarah] brought out a different side of me. I became more inspired and energetic. I think Sarah has that effect on people. You get affected [because] she has a contagious personality.)”

The sequel to A Very Special Love, You Changed My Life, will open today, 25 February 2009, in Philippine theaters. Cathy Garcia-Molina directed the sophomore film of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo
