For her first foray into film, Christina Aguilera plays it safe by playing a small town girl named Ali who makes her dream come true of performing in a burlesque review, with shows reminiscent of her music videos.

The presence of Oscar and Grammy awardee Cher and Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci, with Twilight hottie Cam Gigandet lend the film some interesting highlights though.
